One handed axe
This is a battle hardened design that have been tested and developed over the past years.
1: Haft dimensions at the head now are 1″x 1-3/4″
2: 16″ Langet <wood protection> has more pronounced radius for higher durability.
3: Prior to riveting langet it is glued to the haft with ruberised high strength adhesive.
4: Langet is made out of 4130 1/16″steel is quenched and heat treated.
5: A ring/guard is attached at the handle, to prevent UFO’s.
6: A ring/guard also protects from blows sliding down the haft in to a hand of an athlete.
7: Head is secured by riveting, by wedge, as well as langet is bent over at the head.(see attached pictures)
8: Haft is made from straight grained hickory.
Pros: Weighs ~1000gr all the weight is in the head.
